Miskinler

When the Kaynas Club programming team stumbled upon Miskinler’s music at Rainbow 45 Records in Istanbul, they knew instantly: this band deserved a spot at the festival. Miskinler is a musical supergroup from Istanbul, born as a studio experiment by Deniz Ağan, Ozan Çanak, Durukan Betses, Güneş Kardeş, and Uygar Çetiner. With their Turkish neo-psychedelia, they celebrate their Anatolian roots, which deeply influence their sound. Their first two singles, "Aşkın Sahtesi" and "O Yâre", were released under the same Rainbow 45 Records. 

Kaynaş, pronounced as 'kay-nash,' is the Turkish word for "coming together" or "blending." This one-day festival provides the perfect stage for musical fusion. Melkweg and EBB Music seamlessly bring together ancient and contemporary sounds. Beloved folklore and traditional music come to life in intriguing interpretations of today. Musically, this manifests in brilliant psych folk, mesmerizing saz melodies, and electronic beats.
