Ziggy Stardust: The Global Premiere (2023)

Fifty years after David Bowie's last performance as Ziggy Stardust, his celebrated alter ego returns to the Hammersmith Apollo (then Odeon) stage for a unique world premiere of director D.A. Pennebaker's 1973 concert film 'Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars: The Motion Picture'. Fully 4K restored, the film will be preceded by a perfomance from pianist Mike Garson and a panel discussion with people who worked with Bowie and some contemporary artists, on the legacy of the gig and the lasting influence of David Bowie and Ziggy Stardust. The entire event will be screened in cinemas around the world, including ours!
