19:30 Doors 20:00 Left For Pleasure 21:00 The KVB
The KVB brings everything dark and obscure together into a tantalizing audiovisual spectacle. Blending reverb-soaked shoegaze with minimalist electronic production, the British post-punk duo mixed reverb-drenched shoegaze with gritty, minimalist electronic production reminiscent of Cabaret Voltaire and the Jesus and Mary Chain on their first cassette and vinyl releases. Their sound has become more streamlined and sharply defined over the years, yet remains icy, smoky, and atmospheric. After an impressive night show at the Melkweg during ADE 2023, they return this year with brand new music. Their tenth studio album 'Tremors' sees the duo return to the darker sound that embodied their earliest releases whilst retaining the infectious energy of previous album.
Support: Left For Pleasure
The opening comes from the hands of the young German dark wave group Left For Pleasure, who are steadily entering the postpunk scene with their debut album on Detriti Records. Supported by Liveurope: the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
