The alt-country trio The Devil Makes Three has always thrived in the spaces between genres, where the grit of folk, the soul of blues, and the rebellious spirit and frenetic energy of punk collide. This summer, Pete Bernhard, Cooper McBean, and MorganEve Swain return to Melkweg with new music! In 2025, the band will finally release a new album after seven years. Spirits, produced by Ted Hutt (known for his work with Dropkick Murphys and Old Crow Medicine Show), marks a return to their stripped-back roots and delves into deeper, more personal themes of grief, mortality, and self-reflection.
