In the 80s postpunk reached its peak. Where you might think of bands as The Cure and Joy Division, below the surface of the mainstream, there were countless other bands that defined this era, including The Chameleons. The band kickstarted their musical career with the iconic debut album 'Script Of The Bridge', which dropped in 1983 . Their debut album had twelve beautiful composed tunes, infused with sharp guitar sounds, a clean rhythm, obscure keyboards and filled with existentiallyrics . Although the band fell apart early, their music still is invaluable for true music fans!
But no need to worry, because singer and bass player Mark Burgess en Reg Smithies are returning to the stage. Bringing back the music of The Chameleons including classics like ‘In Shreds’, ‘Second Skin’ and ‘Don’t Fall’ again.
