In over thirty years, The Brian Jonestown Massacre has released more than twenty albums. With contributions from no less than fifty different band members over the years, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anton Newcombe remains the driving creative force behind the band.
From the first releases, which grated on shoegaze and psychedelic rock from the '60s, Newcombe has effortlessly explored different corners of the sonic spectrum. From raw rock 'n' roll and melancholic folk to noise pop and fuzzy, distorted sound experiments - his musical journey remains limitless. The band's last show in the Melkweg dates back to 2016 - time for the long-awaited return of this cult band.
