The British alternative rock band The Boxer Rebellion is made up of Nathan Nicholson (vocals), Andrew Smith (guitar), Adam Harrison (bass), and Piers Hewitt (drums). The four-piece is known for alternating between dark and energetic sounds, incorporating elements of alternative rock, post-rock, and indie.They have released six studio albums to date, with their 2013 album Promises producing the hit single 'Diamonds'. In 2024, the four-piece returned with new material for the first time in six years, releasing the EP Open Arms. In the spring of 2025, the band from London will return to their beloved Netherlands, bringing their new work to the stage for a show in our MAX!
English indie band Low Island combines electronic, indie, and pop influences into an explosive whole. This can be heard on their new album “Life In Miniature”, released on their own label Emotional Interference. As the second support of the evening, Ry Cox will take the stage. As a music video director, he rediscovered his love for music by putting down the camera and picking up the guitar. His background as a director is clearly audible, with cinematic orchestration that, together with folk elements, leads to solid indie rock tracks.
