The Battle to Paris: Breaking the Olympics (2024)

50 years after its inception on the streets of the Bronx, breakdance enters the highest sporting stage in the world. As the news hits the Dutch breaking community, the top breakers accept the new challenge, while some feel sceptical about the idea of the Olympic breaking.

The new documentary follows the Dutch breaking athletes in their two-year qualifying journey to the Olympics. What will it take for our B-boys Menno, Lee-Lou and B-girl India to qualify? And what does a step onto this new grand stage mean for the culture of breaking, raw and underground in its core?

This is a special premiere presented by the production company, FutureFrank. The event features a Q&A session with director Marc de Leeuw and the key members of the crew.
