Tempesst
Creatively based in London and New York, the Australian five-piece from Tempesst can truly call themselves a global band. Formed almost a decade ago by twin brothers Toma and Andy Banjanin, the indie rock band draws inspiration from the ‘70s west coast sound. This results in adventurous songs, with lush soundscapes and hypnotic lyrics that at times hint musically to the music of POND and Arctic Monkeys. Last November, they released their third studio album ‘Forbidden Fruit’, a personal and narrative record.

Geowulf
Also formed down under, Geowulf originally consisted of duo Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin (Tempesst). As Geowulf, they made lo-fi dreampop, joined by Kendrick's lush vocals. After Banjamin left the project in 2022, Kendrick continued the project solo. The recently released ‘Stay Baby’ got positively reviewed by Dansende Beren a.o., and the first solo album ‘The Child’ will follow on 17 January.
