Gigue Production is delighted to present Tempesst at the Melkweg in Amsterdam on Tuesday 8 April 2025, as part of their Forbidden Fruit album tour! Special guests Geowulf from London and Roofman from Amsterdam will kick off the evening with their compelling performances.

Tempesst
Identical twins Toma Banjanin (vocals) and Andy Banjanin (drums) grew up on Australia's sunny west coast. Together they formed indie rock band Tempesst ten years ago, drawing inspiration from the 70s west coast sound. Their debut EP ‘Must Be A Dream’ received millions of streams after its release. Last November, they released their third studio album ‘Forbidden Fruit’, which went on to become a personal and narrative record.

Geowulf
Also formed down under, Geowulf originally consisted of duo Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin (Tempesst). As Geowulf, they made lo-fi dreampop, joined by Kendrick's lush vocals. After Banjamin left the project in 2022, Kendrick continued the project solo. The recently released ‘Stay Baby’ got positively reviewed by Dansende Beren a.o., and the first solo album ‘The Child’ will follow on 17 January.

Roofman
Melancholic indie folk songs with a certain vulnerability. Thijs van der Meulen aka Roofman has a special charisma that makes people listen to him. His melancholic songs, which he sometimes breaks through with humorous announcements, have great melodies and are, in the best sense of the word: intense. His new album ‘8 songs from the bathroom’ will be released on 22 March 2024.
