Post-hardcore band Silverstein will be celebrating their 25th anniversary at Melkweg in 2025! And for this special occasion, they’re bringing along Thursday! Hailing from Ontario, Silverstein is renowned for their powerful blend of emo, intense post-hardcore, and captivating indie rock. Since their formation in 2000, the band has released eleven albums, with their latest work being ‘Misery Made Me'. Their newest single, 'Skin and Bones’, hints that a new album might be on the horizon.
Thursday needs no introduction at this point. Alongside Silverstein, they are a significant player of the 21st-century post-hardcore. Their influential album Full Collapse has inspired countless of new bands. This year, they released a new single for the first time since 2011 – ‘Application For Release From the Dream’.
The night will kick off with performances by The Callous Daoboys and BLOOM.
