modernlove. is coming to the OZ on Tuesday 27 May! From playing in small country pubs to working with super producer Luca Buccellati, known for collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Arlo Parks. The Irish foursome are well on their way to living up to their potential as one of the fastest-rising pop-rock bands.
Their music reveals themes of growing up in boring, small towns, growing up, nights out and a young love gone wrong. modernlove. is considered the greatest hope of the new generation.
modernlove. mixes influences from the futurepop of The 1975, the danceable indie of Bloc Party, the experimental ambient of Jon Hopkins and pop punk, forming a sound all its own. Their versatile indie rock palette is further explored on their recent album ‘Something To Hold On To’.
