Melike Şahin

The multi-talented Melike Şahin left the psychedelic cultband BaBa ZuLa in 2017 to focus on her solo career. She describes her own style as 'mediterranean Arabesque', meaning a fusion of different genres from the Middle East and Anatolian pop. Other projects she has been working on are the soundtrack of the movie 'Djam' by director Tony Gatlif, and music collabs with producer Kutiman and the Oriental rockband Boom Pam. Her successful debut album 'Merhem' was the kick-off of her career in Turkey, and now she is bringing her music to the rest of the world!
