Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)

In the final days of his career, master thief Lupin III's latest and greatest heist goes awry. The banknotes in the bags from a national casino turn out to be expert forgeries. Together with his accomplice Jigen, Lupin sets off for the remote European country of Cagliostro to seek revenge. Not everything goes according to plan; the two run into Clarisse, a princess in distress, who is forced to marry the sinister Count Cagliostro against her will. Saving her won't be easy, as Lupin and Jigen - along with Lupin's unpredictable ex-girlfriend Fujiko and the swordsman Goemon - must fight their way through a castle full of traps, a deadly dungeon and an army of professional assassins! Can Lupin save the girl, evade the handcuffs of his archenemy Inspector Zenigata and reveal the secret treasures of Cagliostro Castle?
