Klyne is the electronic R&B project of singer Nick Klein and producer Ferdous Dehzad, both with roots in Indonesia and Afghanistan. Raised in the south of the Netherlands, they started making music as teenagers as an escape from everyday reality. In 2015, they debuted with single 'Paralyzed', which went viral and attracted worldwide attention. As the blogging era neared its end, Klyne managed to establish themselves as a cult sensation online at lightning speed. This was followed in 2017 by their critically acclaimed debut album on Because Music (UK), with the hit 'WaterFlow', which reached almost 100 million streams. In addition to their own work, the duo made remixes for artists such as Disclosure and Sam Smith, and performed on stage with acts such as Christine and the Queens, Metronomy and Years & Years.
After a long break, during which they worked on solo projects, Klyne is now gearing up for a comeback in 2025, with new music and a show in our UP!
