Gowtu once saw the light of day in our UP, but has grown into one of the biggest club nights in the Melkweg and is completely dedicated to the sound of Suriname. With Gowtu Soundsystem, they were the first to mix Kawina instruments live with contemporary tracks. This daring concept inspired producers and artists, and today their sound is fully embraced by the scene. This evening, Gowtu takes you from the interior of Suriname to the streets of Amsterdam and beyond!
This edition they join forces with Backyard, who of course you know from the editions of Encore in Melkweg and from the always crazy Backyard stage @ Encore festival!
