Gilsons

Formed in 2018, the musical trio Gilsons consists of brothers Francisco, João and José Gil. In addition to elements of pop rock, samba, reggae and Bahiano rhythms, it also references the classic MPB music of father and grandfather Gilberto Gil. After a strong string of releases, including the hits “Várias Queixas” and “Devagarinho,” the band released their debut album “Pra Gente Acordar,” which was nominated in September for the Latin Grammy “Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language.” Two years ago, they mesmerized at a sold-out OZ. On Sept. 20, they'll be returning to our stage, this time for the bigger MAX!
