19:00 Doors 19:30 DJ DNA 20:30 Fun Lovin' Criminals
Get ready for an evening filled with rap-rock with this double bill! In 1996, Fun Lovin' Criminals broke through with their debut album 'Come Find Yourself,' a blend of cinematic hip-hop, rock 'n' roll, blues-jazz, and Latin-soul. The single 'Scooby Snacks,' known for sampling Tarantino films, spent 17 weeks on the Billboard charts and went gold in the US. The band currently tours without Huey, with bassist Brian Leiser now taking on the role of a skillful frontman.
Rapper Rudeboy and DJ DNA will be performing the works of the legendary crossover band Urban Dance Squad. The group quickly rose to fame with their unique mix of funk, soul, jazz, punk, rock, and hip-hop. Their influence extended to bands like Rage Against the Machine, while they were peers of The Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Global tours, an impressive live reputation, and recognition in the United States, including invitations from David Bowie and U2 as support acts, marked their career.
