Fatboy Slim: Right Here, Right Now (2023)

IN-EDIT is back! From 11 to 21 April the sixth edition of the music documentary festival takes place at the Melkweg. Again many great music films will be screened this year, like this documentary about big beat producer Fatboy Slim, with Q&A.

Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) captains this chronicle of the day when 250,000 people descended upon Brighton Beach to attend his famous free rave Big Beach Boutique II. A fine excuse to explore his hometown’s music scene, revisit his career as the bassist of The Housemartins to superstar DJ and big beat gold standard and above all, to reminisce about this hedonistic and chaotic milestone that forever changed the way large-scale gatherings in the UK were managed.

After the film, a Q&A with director Jak Hutchcraft will take place.
