Opening expo: Eva. Hate Me, Love Me.

On October 16, our new exhibition in collaboration with ADE Arts & Culture: Eva. Hate Me, Love Me, will open!

Melkweg Expo will immerse itself in the world of Eva through the work of photographer Eva Meylink. In Eva. Hate Me, Love Me, Meylink presents an intimate portrait of 22-year-old Eva from Rotterdam, whom she first met in 2019 while photographing a group of gabbers. Eva stood out for her boldness, vulnerability, and unapologetic honesty. Over time, Meylink captured Eva’s journey as she navigated her own path in life.

During the opening, there will be a silent disco gabber DJ set by Cynthia Spiering. Cynthia started with techno at the age of 18 and has since built a strong reputation. After her first gig in 2016, she became known for her energetic sets filled with euphoric and hard sounds, influenced by old-school rave and acid. She performs at major events such as Rotterdam Rave and Unpolished. In 2019, she launched her own label, Courtoisy Records.
