As part of the current Melkweg Expo duo exhibition Gathering Moss by Magnus Monfeldt and Jonas Ohlsson, focusing on fatherhood in relation to art creation, a special afternoon has been organized at Melkweg for the youngest talents on Sunday, December 17.
During a special parent-and-child drawing workshop at Melkweg Expo, hosted by artist and DJ Jonas Ohlsson, all forms of creativity are encouraged. To ignite this creativity, there will be a special DJ performance by Jonas Ohlsson (aka DJ Lonely) during the drawing session. Let your creativity flow freely!
Additionally, simultaneously, in our MILK Café, you can learn all the ins and outs of the DJ profession with your child, guided by professionals from the DJ Producer School during a real DJ workshop. Do you want to learn mixing and beat matching on a real DJ set? Young or old? Keep playing!
This relaxed and creative afternoon is the ultimate way to work on both your drawing and DJ skills together with your child! The DJ workshop takes place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in MILK Café, and the drawing workshop from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Melkweg Expo. Participation in both workshops is completely free of charge. Walk-ins are welcome; no reservations are required. We hope to see you there!

DJ Producer School - DJ Workshop
djproducer.school was founded in 2015 with the idea of introducing children to the popular profession of DJs. This idea quickly expanded, and the workshops were also offered to young people and adults. Today, djproducer.school is an integral part of music education, and many festivals and holiday parks have been captivated by the enthusiasm with which our DJs are received by the participants.
Jonas Ohlsson - Drawing Workshop
Jonas Ohlsson (1967, Örebro, Sweden) is an artist, and maker of drawings, installations and objects. He is a composer of music, and writes and performs as Blodfet & DJLonely. His art is as versatile as his artistic practice. Next to music, provocation and humor, other important themes in his work are sex, drugs, politics and street culture. Ohlsson’s background in electronic music penetrates his artistic process, where a big part is reserved for intuition and free association. Jonas also teaches at the KABK, and Design Academy in Eindhoven. He also taught and gave workshops in Boston, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Los Angeles, Aruba, Xiamen and Geneva.
