Keep talking about Palestine. While the news and social media shift their focus, the situation in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon remains worrying. Every day, people suffer the consequences of the ongoing violence.
And this did not start on 7 October 2023. Due to the Israeli government's occupation and illegal blockade, Palestinians have been living under insecurity and oppression for decades.
To make sure the conversation stays alive, Oxfam Novib and Melkweg are organising an event - not a benefit - dedicated to Palestine. Together, we will bring music, inspiring talks, culture, art and food, with one common goal: to keep the conversation going and raise awareness.
Tickets cost €15, of which €5 will benefit Oxfam Novib's relief efforts for people in Gaza.
Most program of this event will be held in English, except the talks by Amsterdam For Gaza. Dit event zal grotendeels Engelstalig plaatsvinden, behalve de talks door Amsterdam For Gaza.
