DJ Shadow

Beatmaster and turntablist Josh Davis, better known as DJ Shadow, is a key figure when it comes to experimental hip-hop music. His music consists of a mix of funk, rock, hip-hop, ambient, jazz, soul, and all sorts of second-hand material. This blend of musical elements has proven to be a great success, and his debut album 'Endtroducing' was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the 100 best albums since 1954. This legend was also crowned with the title 'Sampling King' and made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 2001 with the first fully sampled album.
