Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto: Interstella 5555 (2003)

Originally released in May 2003, this anime film from the French House duo Daft Punk and the Japanese manga artist Leiji Matsumoto, who died last year, tells the story of the abduction of an alien music band by an evil human character who has dark plans. The hour-long film was cut into music videos to accompany Daft Punk’s album 'Discovery', and is rare to see in its original form in cinemas. The film will be immediately followed by a curated selection of iconic Daft Punk videos from directors including Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Seb Janiak, Roman Coppola, and Warren Fu.
