Curated by Talks: Women in Drum & Bass

In honor of International Women’s Day, Curated by is organizing an inspiring and interactive community event on March 9th at Melkweg Cinema, entirely dedicated to Women in Drum & Bass. This community event brings together a group of female DJs, producers, vocalists, content creators, and organizers to engage in discussions about their passion for drum & bass and their experiences in the music industry.

What to Expect?

During this interactive session, panelists will engage with the audience in discussions on relevant topics within the DnB scene, such as:

• The history of drum & bass
• How to pitch your music to labels?
• How to organize your own event?
• How to effectively establish yourself as an artist or label through social media?

Additionally, speakers will give short presentations supported by visual content. The session will conclude with a Q&A where the audience can ask questions.

Why This Event?

Although the drum & bass scene has been known to be male-dominated, it is essential to continue building an inclusive and diverse community. With this event, we aim to spark conversation, inspire, and motivate others to actively contribute to the scene.
