During Chapter IV, Tez Thompson, Juan van Overveld and Sam Kemner will come with their own jazz collective CLAB, followed by a programme full of side projects. Expect a varied evening with influences from jazz, fusion, techno and R&B, among others.

Clab
Inspired by the likes of Yussef Dayes, Robert Glasper and Herbie Hancock, CLAB is on a mission to bridge the gap between grooves and jazz. This collective aims to push boundaries and create something new, merging past and present in a musical journey.

M2K
M2K is an energetic live dance duo by Marnix Bausch (producer) and Sam Kemner (drummer). They play 90s underground dance music inspired by acts such as The Chemical Brothers, Justice and Soulwax. Marnix produces his songs from the chaos in his head caused by his ADHD. Doing so, he aims to create a world for dreamers and the youthful who feel lost.

Tezi
Contemporary R&B artist and multi-instrumentalist Tezi combines trap influences and early R&B tradition to create his signature sound. Influenced by artists like D'angelo and PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tezi integrates nuanced instrumental layers over hard drums to convey his thoughts on love, lust and self-destruction. Passionate yet carefree, his stories reflect the journey of a young man finding his way in an ever-changing world.

Juan
Twelve years of guitar playing come together in a series of instrumental compositions. Each piece was created in collaboration with musicians who contributed significantly to the creative process. Inspired by guitarists such as Julian Lage, BB King and Bill Frisell, this act promises a versatile palette of instrumental musical styles.
