19.00 Doors 19.30 Zeck 20.30 Beatenberg
The indie pop trio Beatenberg derrives its name from a sketch of the Swiss town of Beatenberg by famed expressionist Paul Klee. In their uplifting pop songs, the South African influences of their homeland can be clearly heard. In 2014, the band broke through with the album 'The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg,' and they previously toured with the likes of Mumford and Sons. Newest single 'Don't Call Her Over To You' is fresh out, a powerful, intuitive track with the signature sound you've come to expect from them.
After their previously sold out shows at our Upstairs and OZ hall, the trio returns to the Netherlands on April 16 for a show at our Max!
Support: Zeck
Before Beatenberg, the Australian singer Zeck will bring his dancable and likable indiepop to the room, inspired by bands such as Milky Chance & Bon Iver.
Zeck is supported by Liveurope: the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
