BaianaSystem is celebrating the music of their roots with Afro-Brazilian rhythms and samba reggae, and are combining this with influences of rock and pop, and artistic visuals. The big inspiration of the group is the Bahia guitar, an instrument from the Brazilian province Bahia, that the band is honoring through their music and band name! After a career of over fifteen years, the group is coming to Europe with their "Sambaqui Show", a show inspired by the sambaquis, which are vestiges of the original people who lived on the Brazilian coast. Enjoy an evening saluting Brazilian music and history, with joyous songs and incredible visuals!
