Metalcore veterans August Burns Red have been delivering destructive metalcore for over twenty years, proving it multiple times at Melkweg. With tracks full of heavy riffs and aggressive bursts of controlled chaos, they keep you on the edge of your seat with their shifting time signatures and raw emotion. Songs like 'White Washed' and 'Marianas Trench' have already become iconic, and in 2023, they added the album 'Death Below' to their legacy, featuring guest contributions from Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage) and Spencer Chamberlain (Underoath).
Opening the night is German band Unprocessed. With melodic, technical hooks, they’ve already shared the stage with TesseracT and Spiritbox and are quickly rising to prominence in the modern metal scene! Recently, they collaborated with Tim Henson and Scott LePage of Polyphia on the track 'Die On The Cross Of The Martyr'.
