The American band ATREYU is coming to Melkweg! In 2024, their album 'The Curse' celebrates its 20th anniversary, and in 2025, the band will embark on a European tour to mark the occasion. This iconic record put ATREYU on the global map in 2004, thanks to classics like 'Bleeding Mascara', 'Right Side of the Bed', and 'The Crimson'.
Formed in 1998 in Orange County, ATREYU has become a pioneer in the metalcore scene. After the departure of vocalist Alex Varkatzas, drummer Brandon Saller and bassist Marc McKnight took over vocal duties. With their mix of crushing breakdowns, melodic hooks, and deeply emotional lyrics, the band continues to innovate. Get ready for a night packed with nostalgia and hard-hitting metalcore!
