After a strong launch of unboxed in collaboration with Ilian Tape, we're hyped to present you the wild sound of NYC-based artists DJ Swisha and Kush Jones. Their collaborative efforts touch all shapes of forward-thinking house music. Always blending in breakbeat, jersey club, footwork and bangin' edits into their highly energetic sets. It's the first time these New York icons are playing a b2b in The Netherlands. On top of that we have Kikelomo serving up some euphoric club music. The British-Nigerian DJ was the co-founder of Ghanaian community station Oroko Radio and known for hosting Boiler Room. Local genre-blender askmelater will turn op the heat from the start.
Taking Melkweg's firm establishment in techno, dubstep, jungle and drum & bass as a starting point, unboxed defies genres all together to focus on the cross-over potential of the current club scene. Combining spot on lineups with an intimate atmosphere and one of the most potent sound systems in Amsterdam. Melkweg is proud to present its newest club night for venturous dancers and dj's.
